Crown Devon Cottage Beehive Honeypot – Large – circa 1930s

This is a nice and strong example of a Deco Crown Devon beehive honey pot, with good shaping and texture. The base has a shaped deco-style green base, with a yellow textured exterior. There are bees painted around the pot, and there is one large applied bee on the lid.
The lid has a smoother finish with a gap for a spoon in it. It measures approx.120mm high x 100mm wide at base and has the Crown Devon backstamp underneath. It is in nice clean condition, with just some very light and clean craze lines in the glaze to be expected for the age.
